Private Ephesus tour from Istanbul
Private Ephesus Tour – Early pick up from your hotel and transfer to airport to get a flight to Izmir. After your flight our agency representative will welcome you at the exit gate inside of the domestic terminal where you will see your names written on a board. Your guide will welcome you and you will start your tour.
You will start your visit with one of the 7 wonders of ancient world; Artemis temple, then city ruins of Ephesus as Hadrian Temple, Celcius library, theather, hammams, passing through old harbour path. Then you will feel the holy atmosphere of exceptional Isabey Mosque. You will have your lunch in a local Turkish restaurant.
In the afternoon you will visit House of Virgin Mary where she spent her last 5 years, which is recognized by Vatican as pilgrimage destination for Christians, visited by Pope Leo XII and Benedict XVI.
End of the tour we will transfer to Izmir Airport (60min) to take the flight (1hour 15min) to Istanbul. Upon your arrival in Istanbul, our agents will meet you at the exit gate of domestic terminal baring a board your names written on and you will be transferred to your hotel. End of our service.
Travel tips:
Ephesus has a Mediterranean climate, so summers are dry and hot, so you will need sun cream and hydrating cremes for your skin.
Hat and light clothes are preferable.
Winters are warm and rainy, so you will need waterproof boots, raincoat or umbrella.
Springs are slight hot but nights are always fresh, do not forget to bring your light jackets.
Autumns are tenderly hot but might be rainy like springs, better to have umbrella.
On this tour always wear comfortable shoes as the surface might be slippery.
